¿Que por qué Monedas blandas? Bueno, a lo largo de los años siempre me ha extrañado la cantidad de magos -sobre todo cartomagos- que, con respecto a la magia con monedas, no van mucho más allá del Hopping half. Cuando les he preguntado la razón, me he encontrado infinidad de veces con la misma respuesta: «es que las monedas son muy duras».
En realidad no es para tanto. Bien es verdad que la curva de aprendizaje es más pronunciada que en otras ramas de la magia, pero te aseguro que esté libro hará mucho más suave, dúctil y maleable tu camino.
La claridad del texto, de los dibujos y de los vídeos van a hacer el milagro de ablandar tus monedas. Palabrita del Niño Jesús.
De manera extraordinariamente amena desgrana, con la ayuda de varios centenares de dibujos de Teresa Ariza, toda la técnica básica y medio-avanzada de la magia con monedas.
En este libro hemos visto cosas nunca antes tratadas como, por ejemplo, los problemas y las soluciones más habituales al hacer magia con monedas: las diversas formas de la mano, el pulgar en gancho, las ventanas entre los dedos, la humedad…
Sin lugar a dudas, mi parte favorita es la parte teórica dedicada a los falsos depósitos. La «deconstrucción del falso depósito», como dice Armando, es absolutamente genial. Tienes que leerla sí o sí. Tienes que asimilar esta teoría sí o sí.
El libro está dividido en dos partes: una con la técnica y otra con los juegos, pero el libro está pensado para que el aprendizaje sea progresivo. Tanto los juegos como la técnica van por orden de menor a mayor dificultad.
De hecho, mi consejo es que empieces por la segunda parte, por los juegos y, a la vez, vayas aprendiendo la técnica de la primera parte que, no nos engañemos, si eres un principiante, te llevará cierto tiempo dominar. Todos hemos sufrido el empalme clásico, tú ya me entiendes.
Un libro que, como dice su autor (y yo estoy de acuerdo) te permitirá realizar el 70% de los juegos de magia con monedas. Claro, ameno, divertido y muy, muy didáctico.
