Issue THREE of Ye Olde Magic Mag is out, breaking our previous record of the number of pages: this issue has 40 digital pages (and 52 in the print edition!) on magic collecting and on the magic of the 16th century.
In this issue:
Abramo Colorni: an Italian Jew, both an engineer and an amateur conjurer, is examined in three articles, including a biography by Prof. Angelo Mitri, and his tricks are analysed for the first time.
Tomaso Garzoni, in his La Piazza Universale di tutte le Professioni del Mondo (1585) mentioned some of the conjurers of the time, including one mysterious Luca Trono. Who was he? Roberto Bombassei presents a short research on this forgotten magician. But was he a real conjurer?
