1. Any deck can be borrowed. It is handed out to the audience in packets to be shuffled.
2. One person remembers a card from their packet and then half the deck is reassembled, and this spectator puts their finger on the packet to make sure it stays untouched.
3. The magician has another spectator remember a card from the other half of the deck, which is then shuffled.
4. From the second packet, the audience member removes any two cards they want.
5. The values of these two cards are added together, and from the respective packets, each spectator deals down that exact number of cards.
6. Impossibly, the thought of cards is at the exact same position in each packet.
